The U.S. Embassy in Brazil has announced a new program aimed at helping Brazilian companies invest or expand operations in the United States. The launch comes at a sensitive moment in bilateral trade, after the U.S. Trade Representative said a decision on a possible 25% tariff on certain Brazilian products would be released “very soon.” Authorities emphasize that this information should be confirmed through trusted official sources.

Even with the threat of new tariffs, the Trump administration signaled it does not want to lose Brazilian investment.

To connect Brazilian entrepreneurs with real opportunities in the U.S. market, the SelectUSA Every Day program will host free events throughout July in nine cities: Goiânia, Uberlândia, Uberaba, Ribeirão Preto, São Carlos, Londrina, São José dos Campos, Fortaleza and Recife. Specialists from the U.S. Department of Commerce will provide practical guidance on international expansion, regulatory environment, tax rules, logistics, state‑level incentives and access to the American market.

Official data shows that SelectUSA, created in 2011, has already facilitated more than $400 billion in investments and helped generate or maintain 270,000 jobs in the United States. Brazil remains the top source of South American investment in the U.S., with companies operating in more than 40 states.

Business owners can register for the regional events through the official channels of the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil. The sessions include individual consultations, technical guidance and direct contact with American officials responsible for foreign investment.
