Navigating the complexities of American law, immigration, and healthcare can be daunting—especially for newcomers. That’s why Legal Talks USA, a free event taking place on October 14 at the Royal Business Center in Orlando, aims to break down barriers and provide practical guidance to immigrants and aspiring entrepreneurs.
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees will have access to panels featuring attorneys, business consultants, and healthcare professionals who work directly with immigrant communities across the United States. The goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space where questions about visas, company formation, healthcare access, and everyday legal challenges can be answered clearly and compassionately.
> “We want people to feel empowered, not overwhelmed,” says Cristiane Barreto, a business consultant and one of the event’s speakers. “Whether you're starting a business or just trying to understand your rights, this is a chance to get real answers from people who understand your journey.”
Organized by the Mídia América Group, the event also fosters peer-to-peer exchange, enabling immigrants from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and build a sense of community.
> “Health is a right, not a privilege,” emphasizes Roseli Pereira, a healthcare consultant. “Many immigrants don’t know where to start when it comes to accessing medical services. We’re here to guide them, step by step.”
Organizers stress that Legal Talks USA is designed to be approachable and informative, especially for those who may feel intimidated by legal jargon or unfamiliar systems. The panels will be conducted in accessible language, with opportunities for one-on-one conversations and networking.
Registration is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the event’s official page.
