The Third International Multidisciplinary Congress - III CIVENI, took place over three days, bringing together scholars, professionals, and students from various countries for an in-depth dialogue on innovation, justice, and human-centered development. The event was held at the headquarters of Veni Creator Christian University in Florida, from December 11 to 13.

The congress was hosted on a campus with deep historical significance: the facilities currently occupied by Veni Creator Christian University operate in the former Stetson University building, located in the iconic city of Celebration, a symbol of planning, culture, and innovation in the United States.

Connecting Knowledge Across Borders

Promoted by Veni Creator Christian University, a North American institution that offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in Portuguese, the III CIVENI reaffirmed the university’s mission of making American higher education accessible to the Brazilian and international community. All programs are offered with certifications valid throughout the United States, strengthening academic mobility and global recognition.

The event also highlighted Veni Creator’s partnerships with universities in multiple countries, reinforcing its position as an international academic bridge between North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Participants, faculty members, and students living in both the United States and Brazil had the opportunity to experience the campus firsthand, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening institutional bonds.

“The congress was not just about discussing ideas, but about living the academic experience in a space that connects history, innovation, and international education,” said Dr. Maria Emília Camargo, professor and Rector of International Relations.

Innovation With Ethical and Human Foundations

Throughout the three-day program, panels and lectures addressed contemporary challenges through an interdisciplinary lens, emphasizing that innovation must be guided by ethics, justice, and social responsibility.

According to Dr. Eloy Lemos Junior, a Brazilian professor and attorney, the congress reinforced the importance of integrated knowledge.

“Innovation only makes sense when it is aligned with justice and human dignity. Events like CIVENI create the space needed for this critical reflection.”

Dr. Marcela Tarciana Cunha, professor, researcher, and Rector of Academic Relations of Veni Creator Christian University, emphasized the global reach of the congress:

“CIVENI represents the union of different cultures and areas of knowledge, showing that academic excellence can and should be accessible, international, and socially engaged.”

From the United States, Ph.D. Cristiane Barreto, a specialist in Social Psychology and Management, highlighted the human dimension of leadership and organizations discussed during the event.

“The congress brings attention to the emotional, social, and ethical aspects of innovation, which are often overlooked in traditional academic forums.”

Entrepreneurship, Culture, and Social Responsibility

Entrepreneurship and sustainability were also central themes. Steffano Bruno Souza Meneghel, an entrepreneur based in the United States and a specialist in entrepreneurship from the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania, shared insights drawn from his work in the gastronomy sector and cultural research.

“Entrepreneurship today must be rooted in responsibility, toward people, culture, and the environment. Innovation without values is incomplete.”

Academic Experience Beyond Borders

The congress also attracted students who traveled long distances to participate in person. Amanda Vieira, a master’s student in International Law, came from California specifically to attend the event and visit the university’s headquarters.

“Being here allowed me to connect theory with practice and to truly understand the international dimension of Veni Creator,” she said.

Patricia Portugal, a MSc Professor Patricia Portugal - Academic Advisor, highlighted the institution’s role in training globally minded professionals.

“Veni Creator prepares students not only academically, but also culturally and ethically, for a globalized professional environment.”

Event coordinator Mariane Camargo Priesnitz emphasized the diversity of the gathering: “We welcomed around 50 speakers from Brazil, the United States, and several countries across Europe and Asia, creating a unique space for exchanging knowledge and strengthening cultural ties.”

A Vision Led by Purpose

For Acilina Candeia, CEO and founder of Veni Creator Christian University, the III CIVENI reflects the institution’s broader mission.

“Our goal is to connect knowledge, nations, and people. Hosting CIVENI at our headquarters allowed participants to experience the heart of Veni Creator and to see how international education can transform lives.”

By combining academic rigor, international collaboration, and a strong ethical foundation, the III CIVENI reaffirmed its role as a global forum committed to shaping innovation that serves humanity, today and in the future.
